Australia - Crossroads Gold Resource

The Crossroads Gold Resource is part of the Kalgoorlie Regional Gold Project, but is covered by a separate agreement originally with Barrick Mines, but recently sold to Norton Goldfields.  This agreement on the Mining lease that contains the Crossroads deposit, Jackson is free carried until a decision to mine, at which point Norton will own 75% of this lease.

The Project is superbly located just north of Kalgoorlie and is within a triangular area adjacent to three major mining centres including;

  • The Golden Mile/Mt Charlotte (+60Moz)
  • Kanowna Belle (+5Moz)
  • Paddington/Panglo (+3Moz)

The principle geological target in the project is the Kanowna Shear which hosts the Crossroads gold resource and is associated with both the Kanowna Belle and Panglo deposits.  The Company controls a 10 kilometre strike length of this shear offering an excellent exploration target.  Within the Crossroads Joint Venture, the Company has defined shallow weathered mineralisation over approximately four kilometres of this structure and defined a 72,600 ounce gold resource at the Crossroads prospect.  The primary source for this supergene deposit has yet to be defined.
